Description
The integration of Roma from the Velky Krtis district into the work process is insufficient. Roma often do not have the education and experience on how to apply for a job, they feel the need to be guided in the process of applying in the labor market. Through the implementation of the project, the association wants to contribute to the employment of applicants from the Roma community and to the maintenance of jobs through job counseling. Partner of the project - Kamenarstvo STONE will provide vocational education in real craftsman company. Project focuses also on the Roma pupils - primary school students, who do not have the motivation and support of the environment to continue their studies at secondary school. The project responds to this issue by cooperation with the second partner of the project- elementary school Krasnohorske Podhradie. Pupils in this school are almost exclusively from the Roma minority. Here the organization will implement additional education and mentoring for students in the last years of primary school. Two target groups will benefit from the project, pupils with increased motivation to continue their studies, as well as unemployed Roma, whose chances of getting a job will increase due to the acquirement of new skills.
