Description

The general objective of the project is to improve the educational conditions of children from disadvantaged communities, mainly Roma ethnics and to promote their social and educational inclusion. Thus, in Cata commune from Brasov county (a community with 34,5% percentage of Roma population), the kindergarten classes hosted at Cața Secondary School and Draguseni Secondary School will be provided by the project with furniture and other equipment (refrigerators).  Within the schools, education sessions in the field of health and body hygiene will be carried out targeting 60 children, out of which 50 Roma children; club activities (film and role-playing); environmental protection actions (greening and planting of trees); digital literacy courses will also be organised for 20 women, including 10 Roma women. The investment will contribute to the improvement of the conditions of education of preschoolers and, implicitly, of the quality of the educational act. The project will also lead to the development of the local administrative capacity to carry out projects in the field of education and to meet the needs of the inhabitants.
