The project aims to develop the necessary technical documentation for rehabilitation and modernization of the main street in Buzd Village and adjacent bridges and footbridges. The road infrastructure in Buzd Village is in a precarious condition, many of the local streets being dirt roads nd the bridges and footbridges have not benefited from intervention works until now. Improving the quality of these roads will increase the mobility and comfort of the Buzd community, reduce accidents and increase traffic speeds. This will contribute to increesed access to all points of local interest (educational, health, social and administrative infrastructure of the locality), as well as regional and national interest. Target group / final beneficiaries of the project: the inhabitants of Buzd Village, over 1,096 inhabitants, as well as the inhabitants of Brateiu commune - 2,319 population.

The project supported the elaboration of the technical documentation for rehabilitation and modernization of the main street in Buzd Village and adjacent bridges and footbridges, documentation necessary for project promoter to obtain financing for the effective realization of the investment.
The project increased the capacity of the local authority to obtain funding for the implementation of measures stipulated in local development strategies. Municipality developed preliminary technical documentation for an investment objective. The project will further benefit for community upon submitting the technical documentation for funding from other sources and implementation of infrastructure project for which the technical documentation was developed.
