Description

This project aims to develop the technical documentation for rehabilitate the school building in Sărățeni to ensure the necessary space for educational activities according to the latest standards, creating an ideal environment for the educational process
The project proposes to create a solid infrastructure at the primary and secondary school levels, facilitating herewith the high school admission of the students equipped with the required knowledge base and social skills.  A longer term result would be to reduce school dropout in  Sărățeni commune by increasing the access to free education services and ensuring the quality of the education process at primary and secondary levels. The short-term result of this project is the realization of the necessary technical documentation, which on the medium run will facilitate obtaining non-reimbursable funding to rehabilitate the educational infrastructure in order to guarantee equal opportunities among children belonging to marginalized groups, respectively ensuring access to education for children belonging to vulnerable, segregated groups (long term results).  Thus, these children will have the chance of actively participating on the labor market, dropping local unemployment rates, increasing the quality of life within the marginalized groups, and finally decreasing the level of segregation in the local community.

Summary of project results

The project addresed the need to rehabilitate the school building in Sarateni.
Within the framework of this project,  technical documentation was developed and  the necessary approvals for the first phase of project design were obtained. This will lead to the increase of the chances for obtaining non-reimbursable funding from the various financing programs. The technical documentation will be further used by the project promoter as part of other financing application to be submitted in order to finance the rehabilitation works. On the long term, rehabilitate the school building will lead to reduce school dropout in  Sarateni commune by increasing the access to free education services and ensuring the quality of the education process at primary and secondary levels.
