Description

The Project Promoter, together with he’s partner and collaborators, through an integrative approach, aims to respond to the needs identified at the level of the marginalized communities and families in difficulty from Odorheiu Secuiesc, as well as the fulfillment of measures and indicators of the Local Development Strategy of Odorheiu Secuiesc 2018-2023.

Through this project, the Project Promoter seeks on the one hand the establishment of an Integrated Community Center by renovating and arranging spaces owned by the city that will be dedicated to long-term social services. On the other hand a series of interventions are planned, the beneficiaries being all families in vulnerable situations that live in the four distinct areas. The center will provide basic social services: personal hygiene services, social counseling and assistance services, education and training services for young people and adults, early education services. Interventions from the other distinct areas will contribute to the participation of children in the education process, to reduce the risk of school dropout, to increase the chances of access to jobs.

As an integrative part of the project is the provision of mobile medical services for the marginalized community.

Within this Partnership, the long term sustainability of social services will be assured. A total of 600 direct beneficiaries, respectively 55 specialists and volunteers will benefit from the project (teachers, medical staff, employees of institutions in the field, NGO staff).
