This project is necessary for the community of Ardud because out of 7498 persons, 15.53% are Roma, living in disadvantaged conditions. Beside them, there are other categories of disadvantaged people: single mother, children with parents who work abroad, persons with disabilities, children from vulnerable families. Building of a Multi-functional Centre was chosen as a priority for the community. This Centre is intended to serve the people from disadvantaged categories, increasing the number of people who benefit from different social, educational, medical and hygiene services. On long term, by building this centre, the quality and number of services offered to the community will grow, because in present, in comunity, one NGO provides the educational servicies to roma children from kindergarden and school, and by building a center the number of services will grow.  In addition, the quality of life will be higher, there will be a new infrastructure in the community, and on long the whole community will change due to the services offered especially in the educational area.
