Description

The goal of the project is to prevent the spread of the infection with COVID-19 and Tuberculosis among vulnerable people by improving their access to health services in Mures county.The general objective of the project is to increase the access of the vulnerable population, including Roma, to integrated medical services for the prevention and treatment of priority diseases for public health (COVID 19 and Tuberculosis) through the development and implementation of an integrated program of prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and monitoring at the level vulnerable communities in Mures County. In order to achieve this objective, the project will have four main components, namely: - An information and education campaign for the target group with the priority of increasing awareness of the importance of preventive health services regarding the spread, prevention and treatment of infection with SARS COV-2 and Tuberculosis- An investment component that will contribute to reducing inequalities in access to medical services in Mures county, with an impact on the health status of vulnerable groups participating in the project-A screening campaign of a minimum of 1000 people from GT, including at least 200 Roma, with the aim of limiting the spread of SARS COV 2 and Tuberculosis-A training program for medical personnel and relevant factors from the rural environment of Mures county regarding the prevention, treatment and monitoring of infectious diseases.
