Description

The Ghiroda Town Hall is to inform the general public, consumers, and to help them understand the increased energy efficiency in their life at home, business and in the community.

The project with the title ” Energy efficiency in people''s lives in Ghiroda ” is proposed by Ghiroda City Hall as Promoter and Energy Intelligence Association as a Romanian partner and an Norwegian partnership signed aims to increased knowledge on renewable energy, energy efficiency – awareness raising general public and training/ competence.The commune identified few areas to support awareness –raising, training and competence building on 
renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security.
The training with the title “Energy efficiency in people''s lives in Ghiroda” is composed on 5 modules:
1. Increased energy efficiency in the buildings- examples of RES projects implemented with EAA and Norway 
grants.
2. The behaviour of the energy consumer, an essential element in ensuring the necessary of energy efficiency 
3. How do we decreased energy consumption in the buildings? How do we choose our house? How do we build our house in order to maximize the energy efficiency?
4. Increasing the amount of renewable energy at community level, an element of resilience in the current 
context. 
5. How we increased energy efficiency in mobility sector in the coomune and reduce CO2 emission in the future?
The Norwegian partners will develop the 6th module. It will take point of departure in the expertise of the 
Norwegian partners taking part in the application sharing theirs best practice in Norway. The project proposed by Ghiroda commune in partnership with AIE with the title " Energy efficiency in people''s lives in Ghiroda” aims to educate 120 people, communities, economic agents and organizations on issues related to renewable energy and energy efficiency and energy security. The training will be organized in groups of 30 people at the Cultural house of the City hall.
