Description

This project has a central objective of enhancing knowledge and promoting coordinated awareness initiatives on renewable energy and energy efficiency. It aligns with Sibiu County''s mission to integrate the European Commission''s climate and energy policies, targeting a 55% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The project is driven by the need to transition towards clean energy and reduce hydrocarbon dependence, contributing to a green future. Through education and awareness-building activities, the project aims to influence positive environmental interactions, stimulate community involvement, and foster responsible energy practices. Specific project goals include the development of an informative guide, workshops for citizens, an environmental protection course for university students, and increased understanding and awareness of renewable energy and energy efficiency benefits. The project anticipates direct outcomes such as the guide, study visits, trained technical experts, engaged citizens, and informed students, with a broader impact on strengthening socio-economic-academic relations and advancing sustainable development in the region.

In order to reach these goals, a series of key activities are needed. These include:

- Training for technical specialists

- Awareness campaign

- Project Management

- Study Visits
