Description

This project aims to increase the level of information of various categories of stakeholders on 3 pillars: (1) How can energy efficiency be increased in the home? (2) How can public sector buildings improve energy efficiency? (3) Reducing energy needs by developing sustainable energy distribution systems integrating renewable energy sources. The project aims to promote a dialogue with representatives of the energy distribution sector (operators and services) and relevant authorities in order to promote new technologies and innovative solutions to reduce energy needs, by developing sustainable energy distribution systems. In this respect, Promoter has already been involved in relevant activities in the field of energy efficiency, targeting different audiences.

During the project implementation, specific resources will be created, such as 3 video info graphics, one for each of the 3 pillars of the project, available on a web platform, 5 webinars targeting 250 people with limited knowledge related to energy efficiency measures, and 5 workshops and 1 training, targeting 150 people with limited skills related to energy efficiency measures.  An extended awareness campaign will be held, online and offline, on social and mass media. The campaign is built around the 3 video info graphics aiming to reach a wide audience.

Training sessions will be organized in one of the locations chosen based on a scoring for criteria following the workshops. Training will be delivered at the town hall, with employees, distribution companies and tenants'' associations and the targeted neighbourhood. The main measure under this activity is the development of a Study on integrated energy systems in a residential neighbourhood in the city.

Association for Clean Energy and Combating Climate Change will contribute to project activities by providing expertise on clean energy for video infographics creation, methodology, webinars, workshops and awareness campaign.
