Description
The project aims to increase knowledge for general public and Romanian SMEs in the construction sector regarding renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security. Through the activities developed in this project, the Romanian SMEs will be more aware of how to implement sustainable design, engineering, and construction practices powered by relevant data to track, measure, and reduce emissions and waste throughout the project life cycle.
The awareness raising for general public includes one awareness raising campaign on environmental protection for wide public, people belonging to main interested parties in the project, that aims to consider the environmental impacts and the reduction of environmental effects of construction projects, that requires collaboration from a vast array of stakeholders.
Training activities include training sessions, 8 short and 8 comprehensive ones, on the main renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security. The focus will be on the Environment Management System and Energy Management System in order to map the level of self reported desirability and knowledge of Romanian SMEs in the construction sector. There will be also 200 people self-reporting enhanced capacity and skills, as well as improved knowledge on these issues.
Fellesforbundet will provide the necessary support for good practices exchange visit in Norway and knowledge throughout the implementation of the project, when necessary, as well as the participation at the project launch/closure events.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry Prahova will participate in the planning and organization of events for construction companies, training sessions (short and comprehensive), project launch/closure events, organization of the good practices exchange in Norway, as well as selection and recruiting process of the target group and support in project implementation, expenditure management and reporting issues.
