Description

The main objective of the project is to reduce Vrancart''s energy costs and green its production processes by installing a photovoltaic integrated system with an installed capacity of 999 kWp which incorporates a clean energy power production of maximum 1.280 MWh per year, to be used for own consumption. The selected technical solution and its innovative character will support the company to achieve an estimated 548 tonnes of CO2 annual reduction.
The photovoltaic panels will be built on the ground of 25 acres in Vrancea County and located at a distance of approximately 1,800 m from the connection point in the deep connection station. They will be mounted on the soil with metal structures specially designed for photovoltaic panels. The photovoltaic plant consists of 2.222 Photovoltaic modules 450 W and 6 inverters. The electricity produced by the photovoltaic panels located on the ground will be transported through an underground line to the VRANCART deep connection station. Vrancart will become a prosumer with "no injection into the grid" regime.
The company''s annual energy consumption for the last 12 months for the location where the photovoltaic plan will be installed, amounts to 63.939 MWh, while the estimated energy produced following the implementation of the project (1.280 MWh) will ensure approximately 2% of the company''s energy needs. Key activities include:

  • Delivery of equipment and installations of the PV system.
  • Financial audit.
  • Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.

The project is realized in accordance with the company strategy aims to reduce the environmental impact of the general activity, promoting a green business model and creating an efficient development way by converting light into energy.

Summary of project results
