Description
The main objective of the project is to increase Rolix Impex Series SRL energy efficiency by procuring and installing a highly innovative energy efficiency system based on solar panels and additional dedicated equipment. The company aims to reduce its dependence of conventional energy as well as to optimize its expenses connected with the needed energy for production processes by procuring and installing an integrated photovoltaic system with a capacity of 60 kWp which will produce 66 MWh/year. The selected technical solution and its innovativeness will support the company to achieve an estimated 32 tonnes of CO2 annual reduction.
The photovoltaic system will be mounted on the roof top of the production facility to compensate the necessary electricity, with the prioritization of energy consumption from renewable sources due to the integration of the photovoltaic installation in the company’s internal electricity network. This technical solution will allow them to increase productivity, to green production processes and to reduce energy costs. The project will require 3 employees to receive a specific training.

- Financial audit.
- Publicity to ensure visibility of the project.
The project will be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian company Energiunion AS. The project partner will be involved in the activities related to installation and procurement of the photovoltaic system, as it can provide valuable expertise in drafting the procurement procedures, selection of the providers and best technical solutions for our project. They will support the project promoter by monitoring the implementation of the system and equipment installation, review potential risk for the implementation of the system, verify together quality of the works and installations.

Summary of bilateral results
As a qualitative assessment we can say that the project has been implemented properly without delays and no issues and has positive effects on the company from multiple points of view: in terms of company’s cost reduction as it is secured the company’s energy consumption, company’s securitization of energy supply, the company’s has increased prestige as being a greener company and environmentally careful, the employees of the company have increased awareness on how photovoltaic panels work and are maintained, the company has improved the capacity to implement international projects and to develop bilateral partnerships.
