Photovoltaic plant for production of electricity from renewable energy sources

Project facts

Project promoter:
ELECTROPRECIZIA SA(RO)
Project Number:
RO-ENERGY-0045
Status:
Completed
Initial project cost:
€349,000
Final project cost:
€681,195

Description

The main objective of the project is to respond to Electroprecizia Group need of becoming more energy independent, by operating a photovoltaic power plant. The photovoltaic systems will be installed on the roofs of two building owned by the company. The increased costs of using conventional energy ultimately led the company to consider other options.

The energy generated from renewable sources will be delivered to consumers connected to the plant bars, consumption sites related to Electroprecizia, while the surplus can be reduced to 0 kW through the dynamic automatic power adjustment system of the installed power inverters, included in the remote monitoring system. The photovoltaic systems will have a capacity of 0,96 MW.

Expected outcomes of the project include a decrease of up to 16,52% of electricity consumed from the grid and an estimated annual CO2 emissions reduction of approximately 391 tonnes of CO2. The estimated annual production of energy is around 1.279,65 MWh/year.

Summary of project results

The main objective of the project was achieved, respectively installation of a photovoltaic system to produce electricity for own consumption, thus Electroprecizia has become more energy independent. The energy generated from renewable sources is delivered to consumers connected to the plant bars.

The photovoltaic plant is expected to reduce the grid electricity consumption with approximatively 16% thus contributing to an estimated annual CO2 emissions reduction of 391 tonnes of CO2. The estimated annual production of energy is around 1.279,65 MWh/year.
