Description
This business plan was elaborated for commissioning a photovoltaic (PV) system for ROMATSA''s own use, in order to annually produce 490,7 MWh from renewable energy. The aim of the project is to produce green energy using photovoltaic panels and to integrate the system as a part of the energy network. Another target is the annual reduction of CO2 emissions by 150,15 tonnes CO2 eq./year as part of ROMATSA''s role in providing green services to their clients.
Key activities of the project include:
- Investments.
- Management.
- External financial audit.
- Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.
Summary of project results
Within the project a photovoltaic (PV) system was installed and is producing green electricity for ROMATSA''s own use. The installed capacity of the PV system is of 458 kWp, expected to produce annually 490,7 MWh, contributing to CO2 emissions reduction and to the greening of ROMATSA''s services. The PV system is placed on the parking lots of the Promoter, using steel structures, car parking under it, covering own consumption of approx. 8-10% of the total energy used on site.
