Description
The Energy Audit project in Sfântu-Gheorghe, focused on the Swimming Pool Complex Rekreativ, addresses the critical need for a comprehensive renovation of this significant public building. The complex, which serves as a vital sport facility for the local community, has experienced a range of issues including high energy costs, discomfort for its users, and structural degradation. The primary objective of the project is to halt the building''s deterioration and drastically improve its energy performance, potentially achieving nearly zero energy building (nZEB) standards. Key actions to be explored in the Energy Audit Report include enhancing thermal insulation, introducing advanced ventilation and cooling systems, replacing outdated heating units with efficient alternatives, and implementing energy-saving technologies like combined heat and power (CHP) units and photovoltaic panels. The project aims to create a more comfortable and energy-efficient environment while significantly reducing the building''s carbon footprint, which is essential for the well-being of the local community. This initiative aligns with Sfântu-Gheorghe Municipality''s goals of achieving energy efficiency, sustainability, and improved indoor comfort for its residents.
