Description

The main purpose of the project was to improve the practical training of students from the qualification of technician in administration that is trained in VET fields, in the practical internships at national economic agents, through a study visit made by the factors involved, at VET school

Project objectives:

-development of competencies, institutional management skills / class / workshop leading to the organization of VET students, technical qualification in administration of modern internships, based on principles in accordance with the needs of the labor market

-improving the professional and personal competencies of the 5 participating teachers and of the 4 officials in the administrative field

-development of methodological and pedagogical skills, educational management, tutoring for 9 participants of the Study Visit

-strengthening national and international links in order to develop cooperation between the workplace and school.

The host institution is UNTA DE FREGUESIA DE MACIEIRA DE RATES, Portugal. And the duration of the study visit is 5 days.

The tangible project results are:

  • 5 practice portfolios
  • 1 best practices manual (guide for practice tutors)
  • 1 CDL, approved at the institution level and ISJ Dolj, classes XI and XII
  • 1 comparative guide regarding schooling in the Administration Technician level 4 qualification field
  • 1  tutors'' practice journals

Summary of project results

The "Becoming specialists at the workplace" project aims to improve the professional skills of 9 VET professionals, in order to increase the quality of VET education and training, who will develop a set of work tools in the administrative field, as a result of their participation in an exchange of good practices through a study visit.The main goal of the project is to improve the practical training activity of students from the Technician in administration qualification, who are trained in VET fields, within the practical internships at national economic agents, through a study visit carried out by the involved factors ( 9 participants, 3 VET teachers, an English teacher, the director of the institution and 4 economic agents from UAT Simnicul de Sus Dolj), at a VET school in Portugal, Escola Secundaria de Barcelinhos, through the host institution Associação Intercultural Amigos da MobilidadeThe specific objectives of the project: developing the professional and personal skills of the 5 participating teaching staff and the 4 officials in the administrative field development of methodical and pedagogical skills, educational management, tutoring for 9 participants of the Study Visit the acquisition of skills of the 9 participants in the training and professional assessment of students the development of English and Portuguese language skills for the 9 participants in the context of practicing the profession and acquiring specialized terms specific to the job; strengthening links at national and international level in order to develop cooperation between the workplace and school, increasing the attractiveness and quality of VET and creating a European area of cooperation in the field of VET. The target group will be made up of 9 people -5 teachers of C.E. "GHEORGHE CHIȚU" AND 4 officials from UATC ȘIMNICU DE SUS, our practical partner institution in the economic and administrative fields. improving students'' internships raising the awareness of the school population of the need to make specialized internships more efficient by participating in the visit of 3 student representatives and popularizing the results and models of the visit to the other students of the school and to other similar VET schools through a set of tools and channels established by the project.

Actions for monitoring internships with tutoring

Following the study visit, the participants transferred the experience gained to the external partner in the following products: Guide for practice tutors with the tools of work acquired during the study visit - for students of the XIth and XIIth grades, the field - Economic, postal administration, professional qualification  level 4 qualification . CDL-class XI, Administration technician  with ISSN .  CDLs- administration technician including new methods acquired during the study visit for classes 11th and 12th. CDL for the 11th grade internship, the economic/administrative field. In the materials created, can be find activities for each working day during the internships, the work tools acquired. CDL-class XII, Technician in administration in written format with ISSN. CDL for the practical internship class XII-, the economic/administrative field, which will be the basis for carrying out the practical internships being in accordance with the professional preparation standard, curriculum and work agreement made also within this project. In the materials created, you can find activities for each working day during the internships, the work tools acquired. Practice notebooks, with worksheets for class XI and XII with rules and measures that are required to carry out the practice and . specific documentation sheets and work sheets, usual official documents, permanent observation sheet, evaluation sheets, daily reports, satisfaction questionnaires, Practice notebook, Administration Technician specialization, in letter format with ISBN, 11th grade and in format electronic Practice notebook, Administration Technician specialization, in written format with ISBN, 12th grade and in electronic format Practice journal, a tool that aims to multiply the effects of the results obtained within this project at the level of 11th grade students, the field – Economic, postal administrative – professional qualification – Technician in administration – qualification level 4. The journal includes 12 specialized topics, correspondence circulation, correspondence registration systems, types of letters, etc., activity evaluation sheets, etc. Practice journal, Administration Technician specialization class XI and in electronic format. Journal of practice, specialization Technician in administration, in written for 12th grade.
