The project entitled "Performing training in hospitals" proposed by the Ecological Post-secondary School Sfantul Stefan has as a practice partner the Emergency County Clinical Hospital from Craiova and the host partner from Greece, IIEK EUROTEAM.
Given the socio-economic situation in our country, in which there is an exodus of labor in the field of health to Europe, we want to support our students from postgraduate, Health and Pedagogical Assistance, for the training of quality professional skills that to allow them to integrate quickly on the labor market in Romania and Europe, organizing efficient practical internships. There is a real need for those involved in organizing internships with institutions in the field (hospitals, clinics) to have experience in this field and to learn skills to organize them to European standards, which often the Romanian education and health system. does not offer them, but which can be offset by the EEA Grants project.
The project objectives: Training and development of pedagogical and managerial competencies and skills, for 12 participants (10 teachers and 2 practice managers); Institutional development through the realization of products / guides that will lead to the adoption of good practices by all teachers and employees of partner institutions involved in practical internships.
The 8-day Study Visit will take place in Patras, Greece to the partner IIEK EUROTEAM.
After the visit, the products will be developed by the 12 participants: 1 guide of good practices in the field of tutoring, 1 guide of procedures - which will facilitate the participation in internships in institutions in the field of Health and Pedagogical Assistance, 1 guide of medical terms in English, 2 Internship partnerships with new institutions / clinics.
Summary of project results

Training and development with at least 85% of pedagogical and managerial competences and skills, for 12 participants (10 teachers and 2 practice managers) necessary to integrate in the educational environment high quality internships with tutoring in collaboration with the partner institution Craiova County Clinical Hospital, as a result of the experiences from the 8-day Study Visit from Greece to the partner organization IIEK EUROTEAM.2. For the 12 participants, an increase of at least 80% in the capacity to adapt to the new pandemic working conditions in the hospital (clear circuits) and to the digitalization of the medical system, but also to the linguistic, social and cultural competences.3. Institutional development through the realization by the 12 participants of min. 5 products / guides that will lead to the adoption of good practices by all teachers and employees of partner institutions involved in practical internships, to increase students ''satisfaction with the quality of internships and to increase students'' professional skills in line with labor market trends.
The project team elaborated the implementation plan with all the activities that took place over 1 year and the plan included logistical activities, organization of the Visit, transparent communication with partners, financial, selection and preparation of the 12 participants, product development , to promote and disseminate project results. 10 people from the school: 1 principal, 1 English teacher, 8 VET teachers, and 2 people from the partner hospital (1 nurse and 1 doctor) participated to the Study Visit in Patras, Greece to the partner IIEK EUROTEAM, where activities carried out 8 hours / day. After the visit, the project products were developed by the 12 participants: 1 guide of good practices in the field of tutoring, 1 guide of procedures - which will facilitate the participation in internships in institutions in the field of Health and Pedagogical Assistance, 1 guide of medical terms in English, 2 Internship partnerships with new institutions / clinicsT he experience gained by the 12 participants during the Study Visit will have a beneficial effect for the other teachers of the school and the 2 interns of the Hospital, who will be stimulated to prepare and want to develop both their professional linguistic skills, communication and empathy with peers.Through the dissemination of project results and products, we increased the prestige of the school, by providing evidence of a new quality system of institutional activity, thus developing a new educational policy that will allow us to attract more young people in the medical field.
The project achieved its objectives, was relevant for the intended target groups and for the partner institutions, managing to address the identified needs well. The objectives were achieved and all the proposed results were achieved, at a satisfactory level of quality. The following results were obtained:
• All 10 teachers participating in the study visit declared that they developed skills/competences.
• The 2 representatives of the partner economic agent participating in the study visit declared that they have developed skills regarding the organization of students'' internships.
• A total of 12 people participated in the study visit.
• There are 7 Roma students in the school, 1.45% of the total number of students (484).
• They were achieved :
o 2 CDL: 1st year - Collection of bio-pathological products for laboratory examinations and Administration of medicines;
o a good practice guide;
o a dictionary of medical terms;
o a procedure guide addressed to general medical assistants
o a collaboration contract with a partner;
o a Memorandum-framework agreement with DGASPC.
• 285 students (93.13%), out of the total number of 306 students in the VET classes, declared that they obtained better learning results during the internships than in previous years.
The project led to the improvement of the applicant''s collaboration capacity at the European level and at. continuing cooperation with transnational partners. The project activities were carried out as presented in the application.
