Description

The problem of integration, of inclusion, of early school leaving is on daily basis. Our institution aims to enforce teachers with interactive methods which could help in solving all the above mentioned problems.
The specific objectives of the proposal are:
-Increasing by 10% the number of schools with an inclusive and creative learning environment from the school year 2022-2023;
-Increasing by 10%, starting with the school year 2022-2023, the number of schools with teachers using innovative teaching methods;
-Increase by 20%, starting with the school year 2022-2023, of the number of schools that will adopt and apply the inclusive school concept.
The expected project outcomes for the institution are:
1 Training course completed
-case studies on segregation, collections of models to solve the problem of segregation and transfer of good practices
-documents made within the project posted on the educational resources platform of the Teacher Training House.
The training activities will be:
-participate to a mixed course (structural course and job shadowing) - Teacher as Change Agent, in Norway (4 persons)
-participate to a structured course - Methods and approaches to reach and increase retention of disadvantaged learners,  in Iceland (4 persons)
The local activities of the project will be:
-the introduction of at least four new teacher training courses; workshops; educational resouces platform

Summary of project results

The “Csutak Vilmos” Teacher Training Centre in Covasna County aims to train all actors in education in the county by offering training courses based on modern teaching and learning techniques. By implementing this mobility project -in which 8 teacher trainers of the “Csutak Vilmos” Teacher Training Centre took part in two courses offered by InterCultural Iceland in Iceland, Borgarnes in two streams in two courses with different topics, -our institution will have the opportunity to contribute to increase the quality of education in schools in Covasna County.
Between 20-26.03.2022, four teacher trainers from our institution took part in the course entitled Diverse Society- Diverse Classroom offered by the InterCultural Iceland training center, where they mastered cooperative teaching-learning techniques, which can be used in mixed classes, with students with integration difficulties.
In the second flow, four other trainers  participated in the course entitled Creative and diverse assessment methods for education for the 21st century" („Metode de evaluare creative și variate pentru educația secolului XXI , between 10.04.-15.04.2022, also offered by the InterCultural Iceland training centre, where they were trained to apply new methods and techniques of assessment in the classroom. .
The expected results of the project for the institution at the preparation of the project were: 8  teachers trained in inclusive management; 1 training course initiated, organized and conducted; case studies on segregation, collection of methods on problem solving in the field of segregation and exchange of best practices; the documents made within the project, posted on Facebook and on the CCD web page.
At this moment, one month after the mobililities, we have the following results: 8 teachers trained in the subject of cooperative and inclusive teaching-learning methods,and in formative evaluation; Posts on Facebook and web page; Articles published in local, county newspapers in Hungarian and Romanian; Presentation at the regional Conference entitled "News in Education" on 14.05.2022; 200 printed leaflets; Mini courses and workshops at Mikes Kelemen Secondary School in Sfantu Gheorghe, at the Palace of Children and Clubs in Covasna County; Preparation of a course from the materials of the two courses in Iceland, adapted to the needs of Covasna County.
