Description

The approval in 2016 of new Training Standards (SPP) for professional qualifications of level 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework and of a new curriculum, require the revision of the assessement items data base elaborated in 2014.

Overall objective of the project: To support the process of  learning outcomes assessement, in a unitary and relevant way for the labor market

Specific objectives

OS1. Updating the database with items for learning outcomes assessement according to the  Training Standards and the curriculum in force

OS2. Improving the competences of teachers in VET, including special education in the field of assessment  and practicing item testing.

OS3. Strengthening the partnership between education and the social partners in the field of  learning outcomes assessement

Participants to each of the 2 planned events: - 7 persons from CNDIPT, 34 VET teachers who cover 14 areas of professional training, 6 representatives of the social partners for each event.

Expected results: 1 database with at least 2000 items, revised, available nationwide, published on the "Choose your pathway" website,  34 teachers and 6 representatives of the social partners with professional skills in the field of evaluation and items testing  improved, 1 Analysis report made as a result of testing the items.

Impact: on participants-improving expertise in the field of LO evaluation; on CNDIPT-diversification of the portfolio of implemented projects, increasing the capacity to coordinate relevant activities in the field of evaluation; on VET system level- ensuring the premises of an objective, unitary assessment, in accordance with the criteria of the Assessment Standards associated to the LOU in SPP and relevant to the labor market, increasing the trust of social partners in assessing learning outcomes, the possibility of creating a virtual library.

Summary of project results

The results obtained as a result of the project are:- a base of items containing 4550 items, of which 3500 revised items and 1550 new items, which will be accessible to IPT teaching staff, on the website www.alegetidrumul.ro and usable starting from the 2022-2023 school year- preparation of 200 practical and technological laboratory tests- testing 130 multiple-choice items, representing approximately 10% of the total number of multiple-choice items contained in the item base- 1 National analysis report made as a result of testing the items- 1 booklet on Unitary Evaluation of Learning Outcomes in IPT- 35 teachers with advanced skills in the field of improved assessment- 10 representatives of economic operators with improved skills in the field of evaluation of learning outcomesThe existence of the base of items and the collection of practical samples will provide real support to IPT teachers in the process of unitary assessment of learning outcomes, in relation to the requirements of the assessment standards associated with URI in SPP.As a result of participating in this workshop, teachers were trained to acquire advanced skills in the field of learning outcomes assessment. Representatives of the economic operators participating in the workshop acquired skills regarding the construction of items in relation to the evaluation standards associated with the URI in the SPP.The training had an impact on special education teachers, being trained for the first time in a training process organized and designed by CNDIPT, addressing a topic relevant to the process of obtaining and evaluating learning outcomes.
