The CJRAE Hunedoara offers, through its educational experts, inclusive education consultancy; psycho-pedagogical assistance; speech therapy; training and counseling services for teachers, students and parents. At the level of our organization we find several areas for improvement integration of SEN students in schools through educational services adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries; involvement of parents in school activities and social integration of SEN. To fulfill these needs on our organizational level we consider an opportunity to implement an EEA project. The objectives: - to improve the teaching-learning-assesment competences with at least two new methods/techniques for 6 teachers from CJRAE Hunedoara during the mobility, in order to provide quality psychoeducational services to students with special educational needs; - to improve the role of a facilitator by learning at least two techniques of facilitation for 6 teachers from CJRAE Hunedoara during the mobility, in order to develop educational programs centered to the needs of students with special educational needs. In the mobility activities will have three school counselors; three speech therapists, whose primary attributions are to support teachers in the personalized approach of students with language and communicational. The activities of the project are: dissemination seminars, workshops, activities with other teachers, parents and students from mainstream education, writing an activity guide and brochures. School counselors will be able to increase the quality of their counseling services rendered to special educational needs students by implementing new techniques of designing curricula for integrated special education students in their schools, employing new learning tools and methods in counseling, all on the basis of professional and personal development. Speech therapists will be able to improve their methods of communication and support teachers working.
Summary of project results
The project responded to the priorities and objectives of the Program and to those specific to the school education. It has facilitated the training of 6 specialists in order to adapt the psychopedagogical assistance for students with special educational needs, in the broader perspective of ensuring inclusion
- Results in the field of competences of mobility participants and those involved in local activities are well presented (feedback and reflections on learning outcomes and their utilization in practice, based on the data collected by the project team).
- The results of the training activities (through mobility and local) were carefully monitored (new skills and their application in teaching and counselling activities).
- Local activities were organized with very good dissemination potential. The institution''s website includes a project section, where this project is well presented and the two guides are easily accessible.
- Continuation of institutional development and human resources through a new mobility project, through the same funding program.
