Description

The oil and gas industry in Romania is constantly demanding the development of students'' skills through digitalization. Thus, modeling them and training teachers by adopting good practices from countries that have revolutionized the field is an applicable but also necessary solution.
The University of Iceland is an interface with local authorities, institutions, businesses and individuals in Iceland. The challenge of working in ambiguous situations in the field of oil and gas, facing complex problems and challenges, strategic thinking, communication with others, leads to the need to train students who have skills in the field of digitization.

Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti has always been interested in increasing its international prestige and recognition by promoting the mobility of students and teachers and by supporting educational programs. The Faculty of Oil and Gas Engineering is the only faculty in Romania in this field and it is one of the few faculties of the kind in the world. But the need for extremely varied digital skills and competencies, security, security and confidentiality, but obtaining them remains a challenge. The Faculty of Oil and Gas Engineering is the only faculty in the field in Romania. That is why she needs active change for digital opportunities, in order to improve the teaching and learning process rather than passively waiting for change to occur. The exchange of best practices achieved through mobility has proven that professionals in the field of oil and gas education should have easier access to a range of concepts, tools, methods, processes, systemic thinking and conceptual thinking. In Romania there is the Action Plan for digital education, which is based on the two communications adopted in May 2017, namely A new EU agenda for higher education and School development and the excellent quality of teaching for a good start in life.
