Summary of project results

In our university we aspire to constantly increase the degree of internationalization, collaboration, excellence and adaptability. In this regard, all of our present and future efforts will be directed to the development of a cutting-edge education and research environment for students and staff. By increasing the number of staff mobilities between the Donor States and our university, this project contributed to the improvement of staff competencies in the medical and pharmaceutical domains. Our university ensures that staff members are given recognition for their teaching and training activities undertaken during the mobility period, based on the mobility agreement. The support is focused on widening staff participation, through transparent information, monitoring and outcomes dissemination measures.
Even if the initial plan included students and staff mobilities, because of the pandemic only staff mobilities were possible. All selected students decided to withdraw because their mobilities were planned during the period when quarantine was mandatory in the Donor States. In addition, student mobilities could no longer be delayed for the summer period when the quarantine was removed because the project was ended. Therefore, we could organize only staff mobilities which were highly appreciated at institutional level.
The majority of participants were young teachers and researchers which is in accordance with project objectives . As an organization having set its mission to serve the progress of the society through education and research in the medical field, our university is commited to the continuing education of the staff, for the benefit of students, graduates and patients. Therefore, staff mobility is strongly encouraged with the aim of investing in human resources as part of institutional structural reforms. The university pays particular attention to attracting young members in international projects teams.
A group of teachers and researches from our university managed to establish an inter-institutional agreement based on an older and very fruitful collaboration with Donor States. To develop and strengthen even more this inter-institutional relationship we invited our donor partners in our university in the current academic using ICT tools.
