Summary of project results

All results obtained during the project implementation fulfilled the objectives planned, as follows:

Objective 1: Training of school teachers working with Roma children on the use of methods and integrative means in teaching, on the design, organization and implementation of a curriculum specific to the integration of Roma children - 72 teachers graduated the courses accredited by the Ministry of National Education.

Objective 2: Building curricula and teaching materials in order to integrate Roma students in school – 6 curricula were developed and implemented by partner schools. Six other curricula were elaborated and restructured due to the Covid-19 Pandemic from a face-to-face to a blended learning format: a collection of methods, procedures, working tools for integration activities in a summer school, a workbook for facilitators and students in the summer school.

O3: Increasing the satisfaction of direct (students) and indirect beneficiaries (parents, community) of the school in relation to the school institution - 208 parents were involved in awareness-raising activities. All 454 Roma and non-Roma students involved declared a high degree of satisfaction within the activities and reported less discrimination in the school context at the end of the project.
