In this context, the Khetanes – Together project introduced a cultural entrepreneurship concept designed to promote Roma culture through seven contemporary creative activities, directly involving members of the Roma community in the process.
The project promoted the traditions, customs, crafts, traditional dress, and language of the Roma community in Constanța County through a series of contemporary creative activities. These included a musical theater show and a puppet theater show, both of which were recorded and shared on the project''s Facebook page and dedicated website. Additionally, the project featured a photography exhibition, a painting exhibition, and a documentary film, all aimed at increasing public awareness and appreciation of Roma cultural heritage.
A total of 1,974 Roma from underprivileged areas of Constanța County participated in ten performances of the musical theater show, thirty performances of the puppet theater show, as well as the painting and photography exhibitions.
