Description
The Mocioni Mansion in Foeni is a historical monument of national and universal importance, of great architectural and symbolic value. The problems and challenges that the project will solve or diminish are: the lack of a cultural offer; reduced cultural capitalization; lack of tourist facilities; reduced tourist attractiveness of the county rural settlements; loss of identity and heritage; reduced attractiveness of after school activities, non-formal and intercultural education; lack of spaces to support creativity and artistic productions. Target groups: 1)150 community members and students; 350-500 students from the community and county, aged 5-19; 14 artists/creatives, for residences; 8 artists/creatives, for training camp and so on; 200-700 visitors. 2)The final beneficiaries will exceed 700,000 people, from the community, micro-region and county, from Timisoara and Reykjavik. The target groups need a space for cultural manifestation, sources of income and elements for coagulating the collective identity. The general objective: Economic, social and cultural development of Timis county by highlighting the Mocioni Mansion in Foeni, a historical monument of national and universal value. Specific objective 1: Rehabilitation and rehabilitation of the Mocioni Mansion in Foeni commune, Timis county; Specific objective 2: Development of an attractive and unique cultural offer in Timis county by highlighting a historical monument located in a marginalized rural environment. Indirect results (outcomes): Improvement of cultural heritage management; Strengthening collaboration between entities in Romania and those in the Donor States (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) in the cultural field. Outputs: Restoration and revitalization of historical monuments; Supporting international cultural cooperation in the field of cultural heritage.
