The general objective of the project is to promote intercultural dialogue, inclusive education and to promote Roma history, culture and traditions among them by conducting training seminars and carrying out a practical guide to intercultural activities. Multicultural dialogue activities will also be organized, which will bring together the Roma and non-Roma students from the 5 high schools selected through the regular organization of interethnic dialogue activities and events aimed at combating discrimination and promoting interculturality.
Also, to address the needs of vulnerable groups, including Roma within the project, an intercultural practical guide for improving the educational programs adapted to the pedagogical profile curriculum will be developed, using the inclusive education principle that will allow to create an attractive framework for the educational activities.
Through the work-shops with the students and the training course with the teachers we aim to promote school policies that allow equalizing the opportunities in education and strategies to use cultural differences to transform them into pedagogical resources, taking into account the fact that each person must take responsibility for their actions, the messages they convey, their correctness and objectivity. They will have the role to create the premises of a new future, different, based on ethnic and cultural diversity, which should have as a basis the best coexistence of all individuals in human societies.
