The project is intended for victims of gender-based violence, children and young subscribers, care for people want to be actively involved in civic life and promote equal opportunities between women and men and stop abuses. A sociological study in Romania shows 80% of Romanian citizens considered to be in violation of civil rights. About the augury and the violations of the rights for people - victims of a form of violence are directly found through interviews taken other care addressed to the association and asked for support, but also through the telephone request, electronic mail or letters received to the association. The association aims to advocate for human rights awareness and gender equality, but also to offer specialized counseling. One of the objectives of the project is the monitoring of family-type centers and placement centers in Bucharest, drawing up monitoring reports and if abuses can be found, the Association will notify institutions empowered in relation to acts of violent care taking place in the center. The association will set up a monitoring center where it will interact with victims and where information activities will take place, educate the victim in deposition or small spaces and react in situations of violence. The main project will be granted in the disputes having as object of the crimes of violence, obtaining the protected orders, incredible minors, the service of the divorce, the placing of the points under interdiction, the institutional institutions all. The benefits of the projects are victims of gender violence; abused women, minors, children and young people in the placement center, victims of gender discrimination; Parents; rude, neighbors or people in the family''s social network; witnesses. Among the accomplishment of the project we aim to significantly reduce the victims of domestic violence, as well as increase the degree of involvement of the society in the fight against violence.

Summary of project results

The spread of gender violence in Romania, limited services and available support for victims are the main challenges addressed by this project. Lack of reaction from the authorities, difficulties in obtaining protection orders against aggressors, lack of information on services dedicated to victims, tolerance of aggression. at the level of society.

A monitoring and counselling center was opened for victims of domestic violence in Bucharest, where over 160 people benefited from integrated services, such as psychological counselling, legal and social assistance, training programs. For a number of 21 cases, measures were taken in court regarding protection orders, criminal complaints for acts of violence, divorces, custody of minors.

There were 3 information and awareness campaigns on 1. Domestic violence: practices related to gender equality and gender violence: 2. Violence against children interned in placement centers; 3. The implications of gender violence on discrimination in the workplace. These campaigns were attended by approximately 22 professionals (psychologists, social workers, police, lawyers), 37 victims of domestic violence, 25 volunteers, staff from various specialized institutions, media representatives, the general public through 10 seminars, 4 workshops, 2 trainings, 5 conferences, 2 round tables and website / Facebook.

During the project, information and counselling seminars were organized for 65 victims of domestic violence. 10 women took 2 training courses to become support people for victims, 99 people, professionals, volunteers and people interested in domestic violence took information courses, and for 6 volunteers were organized trainings with the center''s procedures. The main topics of the conferences and round tables were: the professional life of victims of domestic violence, economic and social violence, women and multiple discrimination.

Placement centers for children without parental care are institutions with a history of abuse and we have closely monitored them to ensure that human rights are respected. Thus, monitoring visits were carried out at 4 placement centers and no human rights abuses and violations were identified.

The association has improved its regular communication to the general public about its activities and results and has developed a fundraising strategy campaign to increase the sustainability of interventions.
