- Circular economy: promoting the efficient management of the resources, focusing mainly in speeding up the transition towards a sustainable and healthy food systems;
- Energy: focusing in development of technologies that allow an efficent and smart public lighting and renewable energy community capable of mamimize benefits genrated form the renewable energy produced;
- Buildings: promoting measures and tools capable of increase the energy efficiency and the building integration of agriculture and renewable energy technologies;
- Environment: ensuring the testing of a set of advanced environmental detection and sensing solutions;
- Sustainable urban mobility: promotion and adoption of sustainable public transport means of mobility, with a strong link to circular economy activities, and which at the same time contribute to local strategies for soft and electric mobility based on renewables.
It should be noted that the project implemented in the Beato area is aligned with the golas of the EEA Grants in general, and of the Environment programme in particular. Therefore should be noted the following contributions:

- 4.6 tons of CO2 reduced
- 338,580 liters of water saved
- 1.8 tons of composted organic waste
- 4000 liters of used cook oil collected
- 17 oil tanks installed
- energy savings between 59-79%.
