Description

The “DNA3 – Dissemination” project represents the scaling up of a previously supported project, with the aim of increasing the sustainability and quality of the management of the project promoter and its associates, through the improvement of their management, governance and accountability procedures. This project aims to consolidate and disseminate the DNA3 organisational development model in 30 Cercis (Cooperatives for the education and rehabilitation of citizens with disabilities) and to create a knowledge and innovation centre to promote learning and share information and knowledge among peers.

Summary of project results

The project aimed to consolidate and disseminate the organizational development model and to create a Knowledge and Innovation Center. This center was intended to serve as a dynamic tool for future joint development, providing systematic and targeted information to enhance the qualification and development of these organizations. It emphasized the importance of initiating digital transition processes to elevate these organizations to recognized levels of effectiveness and efficiency, which are essential for the social sector.

The project was organized around three main components:

Component 1 – Digital Transformation: This component aimed at the digital transformation of tools, with a focus on the third sector. These tools, which formed the methodological basis for interventions with participating organizations, were digitized, coded, validated, and made available at the Innovation and Knowledge Center.

Component 2 – Organizational Capacity Building: This component centered on a capacity-building cycle, targeting sustainability in 30 organizations. It included group workshops and individual consultancy sessions to validate self-assessments, develop action plans, and support management and governance measures.A total of 962 hours were dedicated to these activities, slightly exceeding the initially planned 960 hours.

The third component was the creation of the Innovation and Knowledge Center (CIC). The initial phase involved server configuration, installation, and setup of the CIC, FENACERCI website, and Moodle platform. Virtual spaces were created to connect informal and self-organized networks of professionals sharing knowledge, problems, or experiences. The Digital Showcase was designed for organizations to share information about ongoing activities and events, and to promote digital exhibitions. The Library section included various resources in PDF, audio, or video formats. Form architectures were developed for submitting best practices, projects, and initiatives. This work culminated in the final version of the CIC website, now available for user registration. The platform aims to streamline communication processes and serve as a reference center for knowledge sharing, benefiting social and solidarity sector organizations.

In quantitative terms, the following was achieved:

- 143 professional staff trained;

- 1 partnership between NGOs or with public/private entities supported;

- 29 NGOs with transparent and accountable governance procedures;

- 2 initiatives implemented through partnerships between NGOs or with public/private entities;

- 29 NGOs with effective management procedures.

All proposed targets were met and exceeded
