Description
The project aims to develop an organisational needs assessment through participatory methods, with the support and perspective from an external entity, involving the promoter in the definition of its needs and leading to an action/development plan of the organisation that aims to address its needs/difficulties and enhance its strengths, as a way of enhancing its capacity to intervene in society and to ensure greater efficiency in its activities.
Summary of project results
The project responded to a lack of planning by the promoter NGO.
To adopt a more scientific and considered management approach and benefiting from an external perspective, the NGO developed an organisational needs assessment and action plan, that served as the basis for future capacity-building. The assessment was conducted through participatory methods, involving the promoter in the definition of their needs, leading to an action plan that aimed to overcome their shortcomings/difficulties and enhance their strengths.
