Description

The project  is necessary to strengthen the institutional potential of local governments in order to make them able to fulfill their tasks to meet the existing and appearing needs. This concept means proper organisational and decision-making structures, competent and efficient officials, action procedures, mechanisms to enable proper use of resources, using partnership mechanisms and participation of the local community in managing of public affairs. The project is also necessary to face the Stalowa Wola''s problems and, challenges like:  environmental issues, aging society, low quality of life, demographic crisis, social problems, necessity to support the inhabitants with a program based on respect and mutual responsibility, lack of activities that help to build new cooperation between the local government and business,degradation or extension to the outskirts. The general aim of the project is to: improve the local and institutional development of Stalowa Wola. 

Information about the planned activities and expected results:

1. Planned activities include:

activities for young people, seniors, activities to strengthen entrepreneurship, strengthening the quality of public services, activities for people with disabilities,  training for employees of public institutions

2. The effect of the project implementation will be:

  1. development of the city''s offer for young people, development of cooperation between science and business, development of social services and building the city''s brand SMART,

  2. creating a good climate for the development of entrepreneurship, knowledge-based economy 4.0 and intersectoral cooperation,

  3. sustainable development of the city, development of local activity and support for seniors.

Expected end-beneficiaries: young people, seniors, employees of the city hall, entrepreneurs, people with disabilities
