Description

Cadevent has so far operated in the IT market, but intend to diversify our operations and grow the company by providing technical assistance services on the water, in cooperation with a sister company operating in the area, Maritime Assistance Services Poland. The aim of the project is to implement a comprehensive service comprising: small boat and yacht maintenance, waste collection, fuel supply to vessels, neutralizing chemical and biological hazards, and securing leaks from vessels.

Under the project, we will design and commission a boat with an electric motor, and with equipment for the provision of technical assistance on the water: a rescue kit, a working platform and a crane, and specialized tools for the repair of emergency boat malfunctions. A scientific unit will  help us develop procedures for the safe provision of refuelling and collection of waste from ships, yachts, ports, marinas, houseboats and boats. Priority in waste collection will be given to ensuring high tightness of waste containers, the loading speed, minimizing the risk of equipment failure on the vessel, and safety of employees operating the waste collection process.

The Norwegian project partner, the scientific institute SINTEF AS, will take important part in the boat design work. Our resulting services are planned to be provided in Norway, so the design has to take into account the regulations which aim to protect the Norwegian natural environment. Thanks to the project we will be able to guarantee to the recipients of the new services - i.e. owners of vessels and other entrepreneurs operating in the water area - high mobility, complexity and speed of implementation, and a high standard of the service.
