Description

JATI operates a trout farm engaged in fish breeding, catering services, and recreational activities as a fishing ground. The Rózin farm is surrounded by an extensive protected forest, and features ponds with a total area of 74 acres. Under the project, we are expanding our operations to include accommodation and other tourist activities on our fish farm. A minimum of 32 beds will be made available in houseboats and modular cabins with access to ponds and causeways infrastructure, as well as 32 educational stands, some of them using multimedia technologies. These stands will be indicating the valuable natural resources in the surroundings of our farm, i.e. in the ecosystem of Rózin ponds. The aim is to raise the level of visitors’ knowledge of natural resources, human impact on these resources and ways to protect them. As a result of the project, a unique tourist and educational service will be created, combining elements of recreational offer (actively spending time by the water) and nature education.

The project includes: adjustment of the main building on the farm – construction works preparing space for the installation of educational stands and audio-visual space, the purchase and location of stands constituting an educational path around the building and in the farm space, the purchase of modular cabins and boathouses with equipment, and the launch of a guest service system in the form of a mobile application, which joins all services available the farm space. The application will provide full support of the stay, access to individual stands and a package of information about the area, including the ponds as a water body and ecosystem. To that end, we will  purchase licences, have the application structure adapted to our needs, and the content of the application developed.
