Description

PIS specialises in the construction of water, sewage and gas systems, treatment plants, pumping stations and water intakes for logistics centres throughout Poland. Our clients are leading construction companies, which means that very high geotechnical parameters have to be met in our work, regarding: strength, bearing capacity and soil compaction.

Under the project we will implement innovative solutions in the field of soil compaction. New, highly active binders, such as Hydratech, will be used, making it possible to manage fly ashes and to improve and stabilise soil from linear excavations in the construction of logistics centres. As a result, our developer clients will get faster, cheaper and good quality execution of earthworks contracts, regardless of geotechnical soil parameters.

The project objective will be achieved through the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment: a tracked excavator, vibratory rollers, soil compactors and a dump truck.

The project will contribute to a reduction of CO2 emissions by 25 tons per year due to lower emissions of exhaust fumes by the new construction machines, and a reduction in energy intensity of the works. 1 050 tons of generated waste (ash and waste soil) will be managed per year by using fly ash for soil compaction. The time taken by PIS to carry out linear works will be reduced by 35%. The increase in production capacity will allow the company to execute many new orders simultaneously.
