Description

ALUGLASS specializes in the production of external and internal doors and aluminum window frames. The project is the culmination of our search for a new solution to provide maximum door tightness and resistance to any weather conditions. We are planning to start producing external panel doors in non-standard sizes and with increased resistance to thermal deformation (EUROA PS). That will allow reducing the gap of thermal stress occurring when temperature conditions change, eliminating door distortion, reducing the risk of doors being stuck in the door frame, and an improvement of thermal insulation properties of the doors.

The investment which will let us implement the results of our own development works covers the construction of a production hall and the purchase of machines to produce the improved panel doors. A scientific unit will be commissioned to test the new doors in terms of thermal and break-in resistance.

We will also purchase and install photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. The investment will contribute to increasing energy efficiency, reducing CO2 emission by 78.02 tons and lowering the annual consumption of power by 0.10 GWh. The environmental effect of the project will be enhanced through more efficient material management: the innovative method of gluing door leaves will help reduce the use of glue by as much as 50%.

Summary of project results

The implementation of the project was necessary to increase the competitiveness of our company by implementing innovative solutions that are necessary to meet the growing expectations of customers.

As part of the project, machines were purchased to increase the accuracy and speed of processing elements for door production, and we built a new production plant using renewable energy sources. Thanks to this investment, we can offer a high-quality product while caring for the environment.

Thanks to the grant, we were able to build a new hall, expand our machinery and introduce a fully modernized production system. We have created new jobs.Currently, we have tested doors with non-standard dimensions. This gives designers and architects more opportunities to individually select doors.
