Description
Most caregivers of the elderly undergo a lot of stress before starting their work and in the course of it. That is associated with having to deal with often very demanding situations. The information available on web portals dedicated to elderly care is usually sketchy and written in difficult language, uneasy to understand. The antidote to the uncertainty and frustration of the caregiver, as well as directly to the challenges arising during the care of the elderly, is to acquire specific skills and knowledge.
Under the project we will develop and implement Caremedis.com portal which will support caregivers of the elderly with knowledge about health and senior care. The portal will be accessible from a computer, smartphone and tablet. A support group will also be created at the portal, the role of which is to prevent the occurrence of professional burnout.
The system will be equipped with a number of innovative solutions including: an artificial intelligence module based on big data analysis and machine learning, a knowledge update module, a user behaviour analyser and an intelligent FAQ section so that caregivers can find any information they need.
The project partner is Pol-Nor Consulting AS from Norway. One of its fields of activity is providing information services for senior citizens in Norway, which is consistent with the subject matter of the project. The partner’s tasks include mentoring and on-going advisory on project activities.

Summary of bilateral results
Cooperation with Pol-Nor Consulting AS was very successful. Consultations on counselling and mentoring were held regularly. The Company''s representative was available and very well prepared for all consultations. He answered all the questions I asked. The content presented by him was prepared in a professional and very accessible way. Based on the knowledge and experience of Pol-Nor Consulting AS on the foreign market, we conducted joint activities such as agreeing on the content planned to be posted on the Internet portal resulting from the project, as well as consultations and advice during and after the implementation of the Polish innovative product on the market. Our joint consultations and the entire cooperation were aimed, among others, at reducing the challenges of caregivers and seniors related to the use of online education. During the consultation in the field of consulting the Norwegian Partner, I got to know various approaches, methods and tools that have been well received in Norway and have noticeably improved the quality of life of seniors. The Norwegian partner actively participated in the events organized as part of the project. His support during the entire project implementation period contributed to the development of the most optimal solutions. Cooperation with Pol-Nor Consulting AS was a very valuable and interesting experience for me. I gained the knowledge necessary to maintain and develop a business.
