Description
READ ME provides printing production services that consist in printing and binding of books, brochures, photo albums, calendars, and magazines, and publication distribution. The printing market is increasingly demanding in terms of innovativeness of preparation for printing and production, costs and speed of order execution. This has prompted us to look for cost savings (mainly in terms of energy) and investments in modern equipment and processes.
The project will let us introduce a new double-sided printing system within one process. To achieve that, a technological line for double-sided printing and a folding machine will be purchased, and R&D works will be carried out to connect the new printing system with other production outlets. We will also implement a renewable energy source in the form of a photovoltaic installation.
The improved precision of the printing processes will result in one and a half times less paper consumption on the pre-run and a reduction of waste in the throughput process by more than 150 tons per year in total. There will also be a reduction in annual CO² emissions by 77 tons per year and savings in energy consumption of 0.09 GWh.
