Description

The project will be implemented by IOM International Organization for Migration in cooperation with Polish Border Guard. The aim of the project will be to improve the capacity of Border Guard officers to prevent and detect organized crime, in particular trafficking in human beings. The Border Guard effectiveness will be enhanced through training officers. In addition, the efficiency in cooperation between the Border Guards and law enforcement agencies from Norway and Great Britain will be increased through study visits to these countries. The project is based on the results of the first phase (where over 90% of officers participating in trainings evaluated them as effective and of high substantive value), implemented between 2014 and 2017 by IOM and Border Guard, financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

The project implements the principles of equal treatment and anti-discrimination, both in the recruitment  participants and the training program.
