The aim of the project is to update the education offer through the exchange of opinions and good practices between organizations with experience in the field of vocational education of youth and adults. Project activities are aimed primarily at teachers and youth workers, as they will be the direct beneficiaries of the project results. The need to implement the project results directly from the lack of flexibility of the education system in Poland in terms of adaptation to the dynamically changing labor market and the lack of a tool for using modern education methods in order to develop the competences of the future among young people. During the project implementation, the applicant will involve external experts and teachers as well as youth and adult workers to ensure maximum adaptation of the project results to the needs of the recipients. Based on the previous experience and the exchange of opinions and good practices between organizations, an interactive online platform will be created, thanks to which teachers and educators will be able to learn modern teaching methods and adapt a specific method to the audience and competences that will be currently taught and developed as part of the education path. . Thanks to this, the project will be a response to the needs of both teachers and educators, but also indirect recipients such as young people, adults striving to change the industry or professional development, and employers operating on the labor market. In addition, the project results will be fully scalable and available, which makes them sustainable. The applicant together with the partner and in cooperation with experts will also define the so-called competences of the future, which may soon become a factor determining the possibilities of professional development.

Summary of project results

The project "Competencies of the Future - Adaptation to the Needs of the Market" was aimed at improving the quality and adaptation of vocational education in Poland to the dynamically changing conditions of the labor market. The need for its implementation arose from the insufficient flexibility of the educational system in Poland and the lack of tools to adapt education methods to the requirements of the modern labor market, especially in the context of developing soft and technical competencies.

A number of activities were implemented as part of the project, including the development of an interactive educational platform, the exchange of experience and good practices with the TERRAM PACIS organization from Norway, the organization of workshops and training courses, as well as international meetings in Warsaw and Oslo. These activities were important for the exchange of knowledge and international experience, which contributed to improving the quality of vocational education in Poland.

The main results of the project include the improvement of the competence of teaching staff, the development of new didactic methods, and increased awareness of the importance of vocational education. The project has contributed to better adaptation of vocational education to the needs of the labor market, which in turn improves the situation of the final beneficiaries - students and employees.

The importance of the project stems from its contribution to the modernization of the vocational education system in Poland, and its long-term impact is expected to include better adaptation of young people to the demands of the labor market, increasing their professional opportunities and contributing to the economic development of the country.
