The partnership in this project intent to develop different innovative approaches to help students, teachers and educators, VET schools, VET institutions and businesses to cooperate successfully in preparing the young generation for 4.0. job market .
We will work with systems, methodology and concrete tools to improve communication between VET institutions and business from different industries. Project will work to improve VET pedagogy to make the transition from the education system into the labour market an easier process. Finally, the project will develop software/App, which will provide onboarding training for apprentices to give VET institutions and educators support in preparing students for starting their apprenticeships  with employers.
Since the project is transnational, the ability to understand cultural contexts in using to develop the tools, will also be an important result of the project. Project will conduct a joint Project Meeting where staff from applicant and partners transfer the knowledge and good practices. Learning and teaching training for VETeducators and staff from partners work through developed material to get an ownership to it. Pilot, testing all or elements of the tools to harvest experiences and necessary feedback to complete both methods, gaming methodology tools and the VR app.Outputs will be translated into the national languages and in English and disseminated through different channels, online and offline.Long-term benefits will be the creation of a VET- Business engagement model at European level that effectively connects VET institutions with Business, help pupils with first experience as apprentices program at the employer. Students will easier adapt to employer expectation by using the onboarding training App. VET Institution staff will improve their methodology and new technology skills for better engagement of VET students and quality and the link with local community, playing an integrator role in the society.

Summary of project results

The project aimed to develop innovative methods and tools to support collaboration between vocational education and training (VET) institutions and the business sector. It was implemented in response to the challenges of preparing young people for the Industry 4.0 job market and improving the quality and relevance of vocational education.
Need:
The project was essential due to the growing gap between graduates'' qualifications and labor market requirements. Research showed that current vocational education methods do not meet the needs of modern enterprises, making it difficult for young people to enter the job market. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these issues, hindering traditional forms of education and increasing the demand for distance learning.

VR onboarding game: Developed a VR game for onboarding interns, supporting their adaptation process in the workplace.
Guidelines for VET Institutions: Prepared guidelines based on best practices from Norway to support collaboration between VET institutions and the business sector.
Publication of a Research Report: Conducted research on VET-Business cooperation, with findings published in a report.
Five Conferences Promoting Modern Approaches to Onboarding and VET Education in Poland, Norway, and the Czech Republic.
Five International Project Meetings: Aimed at strengthening international cooperation between organizations from Poland, Norway, and the Czech Republic.

Significance:The "VET 4.0" project was significant due to its long-term impact on vocational education and the labor market. The achieved results contributed to the ongoing formal proces of improving the quality of vocational training for increasing graduates'' competitiveness in the job market. The project also supported the integration of modern technologies in education, which is crucial for the future of vocational training. Due to the project''s success, its results can be utilized in other countries and institutions, contributing to the further development of the VET sector at an international level.

Summary of bilateral results

In the project "VET 4.0 - Training System for a New Generation of Practitioners," the participation of institutions from Donor States, including Prios AS from Norway, brought significant benefits and was crucial to its success.Prios AS contributed advanced knowledge and experience in modern technologies, particularly in the context of remote learning. This enabled the development of innovative educational tools, such as a VR onboarding game for trainees, which enriched the collection of modern VET teaching tools aimed at improving the quality of vocational education. Norway is known for its high-quality vocational education system, which works closely with the business sector. Prios AS shared best practices and proven methods that could be adapted and implemented in Poland and the Czech Republic. The introduction of these methods has great potential to better prepare students for entering the labor market. The presence of institutions from Donor States enriched the project with an international perspective, allowing for the understanding of different cultural and economic contexts. This facilitated the development of tools and methodologies that are universal and can be applied in various countries, thus increasing the project''s potential impact. Prios AS provided support in building the capacity of participating institutions by offering training and workshops that enhanced the skills of teachers and educators. This enabled VET institutions to better respond to the challenges of vocational education and better prepare students for the demands of the modern labor market.
