The project allows for increased mobility in higher education between the SWPS University, Volda University College and the University of Oslo. The project will be carried out in the scope of: 

a. Student mobility:

  • Outgoing mobilities of Polish students to Donor States and incoming mobilities of students from the Donor States for study periods lasting from 3 to 12 months within an academic year.
  • Outgoing mobilities of Polish students to Donor States and incoming mobilities of students from the Donor States for work placements from lasting from 2 to 12 months within an academic year.

b. Staff mobility:

  • Teaching assignment-based mobilities of academic teachers between Poland and the Donor States for a period of between one day and six weeks (a minimum of eight hours of teaching at the partner institution must be provided during one week of mobility).
  • Higher education staff mobility between Poland and the Donor States for job shadowing, participation in seminars, training, workshops and conferences aimed at improving skills and expanding knowledge in a given field for a period of between one day and six weeks,
  • Mobilities of representatives (employees) of companies from Poland and the Donor States for teaching assignments in a host institution for a period of between one day and six weeks.

Summary of project results

The project was initiated in response to the existing need to increase the mobility of students and academic staff  beteen SWPS University and two similar institutions in Norway ( one of Donor States): Hogskulen I Volda ( Volda University Collage) and Universitetet I Oslo ( University of Oslo).
The aim was enhance the rotation and exchange of academic potential among students and staff primarily at Faaculty of Law and Communication at SWPS University.

The agreement allowed for 10 students to undertake 5 month mobilities offered by partner universities. Additionally,academic staff members could participate in the mobility program for educational and training purposes for a period of up to 7 days. As a result of the project, 10 Polish students, 4 academic staff mmbers form SWPS University and 4 academic staff members from Norway participated in the exchange. 

The project has a lasting impact  on the participants, increasing their intercultural skills and access to international resources. Participants had the opportunity to work in international and  interdisciplinary teams, which allowed them to learn about cross- cultural differences and similarities, as well as to reflect on their  strengths and weaknesses, further facilitated by the proximity to nature. Through the project students have become more competitive in the job market. 
The aim was to enhance the rotation and exchange of academic potential among students and staff, primarily at the Faculty of Law and Communication at SWPS University. 

This victory represents a significant contribution on the recognition of SWPS  University and the Faculty of law and Social Scciences as important hubs for the development of visual arts in Poland and Europe.It also serves as a noteworthy pomotion of graphic design graduates as indivduals with high creativity and social skills.The involvement of academic staff enabled the establishmeent and development of collaborations with norewgian researchers, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences. In the long run, this will enhance the prestige and visibility of the university, attacting both students and other academic staff, includinh international ones, which can contribute to the further development of an internatopnal environment and increased cultural diversity.Participation in the program has benefited both at the individual and institutional leevels, supporting the educational and scientific development of univwesity.Thanks to the high level of cooperation betweem the partners, SWPS University and the University of Oslo plan to further develop it, including launching a joint study program in the field on environmental psychology and climate change.

Summary of bilateral results

Collaboration with Norwegian institution has facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience among students and academic staff involved in the program. In the long run, this will contribute to enhancing the university''s prestige and visibility, attracting both students and academic staff, including those from abroad. This can further foster the development of an international academic environment and an increase in cultural diversity. Participation in the program has yielded benefits at both the individual and institutional levels, supporting educational and academic development at the university. Students emphasized the influence of proximity to nature on their development, the accessibility, equipment of the university, and their experience in working with international and interdisciplinary teams. The University intends to continue bilateral cooperation with the participating institutions. In both cases, the university has established interinstitutional agreements under the Erasmus+ program. Furthermore, the Project Promoter and the University of Oslo are implementing a joint Master''s program called "Global-MINDS" in the field of social and cross-cultural psychology, and they are planning to launch a joint program in the field of environmental psychology and climate change. SWPS University remains open to further forms of collaboration, including joint participation in future programs. The Beneficiary believes that continued collaboration can lead to long-term benefits, such as academic partnerships, joint research, and educational projects that can contribute to the development of the university and the local community.
