Description

The applicant of the proj. is the district Governor''s Office in Pleszew, which is the leading body of the ZST in Pleszew. Partner of the proj. application includ. CWRKDiZ in Kalisz. The applicant of the proj. and the Partner work for the develop. and customized educ. to the needs of students and the labor market. The aim of the proj. is to improve the quality of ed. ZST offer in Pleszew in the tech. professions: mechatronics and motor vehicles by implementing cooperation with entrepreneurs and updating the teaching progr. in the period of 1/2/2022 – 30/9/2023. The proj. will allow for innovative dual educ. in selected fields, meeting the requirements of the modern labor market, including distance/hybrid educ. This will be due to an in – depth  analysis of employers’ needs and analysis of job preferences of the group of 30 stud. The result will be report, which will be the start. point for update of teaching progr. including additional classes dedicated to employers and those preparing students to pass the exam. The innovation will be a creation of curricula based on strict cooperat. with employers and students from the given area. The target group of the proj. are students from ZST in Pleszew, training in the following prof.: mechatronics tech. and motor vehicles tech.. A group of 60 students will be ed. on the basis of the updated teaching progr. A target group covers also the employers who recruit employees with the required prof. competences. The project will generate many years of experience benefits enriching students with practical knowledge and new prof. competences and providing the school teachers with advanced teaching programmes and a reliable partnership with the local government unit. The project will influence the potential of graduates, which is in line with the main goal of Education Programme. The project supports a creation of a modern perception of  the educational system and will contribute to the improv. of the passing rates of vocational exams

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to improve the quality of educational offer of the technical school ZST in Pleszew in the occupations of mechatronics technician and automotive technician by intensifying cooperation with entrepreneurs and updating curricula in the period 1st February 2022 – 30th September 2023. The implementation of the project allowed to raise the level of education in selected fields of study, trying to respond to the requirements of the modern labor market.

Innovative dual education was launched in selected majors, corresponding to the requirements of the modern labor market. Conducting research and preparing the "Report on the in-depth analysis of the needs of employers and students" was the starting point for updating curricula. The innovation was the creation of curricula based on close cooperation with employers and students. Based on the updated curricula, 87 students are currently being educated, including 18 in the first grade and 11 in the second grade in the profession of automotive technician, and 32 in the first grade and 26 in the second grade in the profession of mechatronics technician.

project will generate long-term benefits by enriching students with the necessary knowledge and marketable skills, and the school and teachers with tailored curricula and reliable partnerships with business and local government. The project will also have an impact on strengthening the potential of graduates, which is in line with the main objective of the Education Program. The project is conducive to creating a modern image of vocational education, promoting modern technical solutions in the education system, and will contribute to improving the pass rate of vocational exams. Attractive and tailored forms of education should also result in increased enrollment in future years.
