  • Outgoing mobilities of Polish students to Donor States and incoming mobilities of students from the Donor States for work placements from lasting from 2 to 12 months within an academic year.

b. Staff mobility:

  • Teaching assignment-based mobilities of academic teachers between Poland and the Donor States for a period of between one day and six weeks (a minimum of eight hours of teaching at the partner institution must be provided during one week of mobility).
  • Higher Education Institution staff mobility between Poland and the Donor States for job shadowing, participation in seminars, training, workshops and conferences aimed at improving skills and expanding knowledge in a given field for a period of between one day and six weeks.

Summary of project results

The need for the project arose from the need to improve the competence of employees of scientific units in the form of exchange of information and experience, mutual observation of teaching activities, knowledge sharing between universities from different countries (including the issues of sustainable development, equal opportunities, accessibility for people with disabilities, in which the Scandinavian countries are leading).

In the end, 6 mobilities from Poland to the donor countries (3 to Norway and 3 to Iceland) and 3 mobilities to Poland from the donor country (Norway) were implemented.

The main result of the project was the strengthening of mutual relations with Oslo University and the establishment of contacts with Bifrost University (work is underway to sign agreements between the universities on staff mobility under the Erasmus+ program) , as well as exchange of mutual experience , among other things, representatives of the Norwegian partner got acquainted with the functioning of the modern Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center at the University od Applied Sciences in Konin, created with EU funds, which began operation on 1.03.2022.

The project was of significant importance for the development of international cooperation of ANS in Konin - talks have begun on concluding agreements within the framework of the Erasmus+ program - the Beneficiary strives to ensure that the activities undertaken in the field of establishing international contacts are characterized by strong geographical diversification, which in practical terms means establishing and developing contacts with universities operating in different countries. This project in this regard will have a long-term impact.

Summary of bilateral results

International cooperation, especially with universities from highly developed countries that care about horizontal principles, is very beneficial for Polish universities and their staff - participants in mobility get to know their colleagues from foreign universities, knowledge and experience are exchanged, joint scientific initiatives are undertaken.Partners from NO and IS, in turn, have the opportunity to establish and develop contacts in Eastern and Central Europe, which is also an important aspect in broadening research horizons. Also, universities have gained from the implementation of this project - talks have been held on signing bilateral agreements for the Erasmus+ program, which will result in a geographical and qualitative increase in the opportunities for studying outside Poland. This will be a long-term effect.
