Description

The main objective of the training is to broaden teachers'' didactic workshop with new, alternative forms of formal and informal education. Participants in the training will learn the new alternative teaching method Play To Learn More (PTLM) https://leikuradlaera. is/en, where children learn all curriculum-based subjects through play, movement and the senses in a fun, lively and effective way. The training is addressed to teachers from all over Poland. Thanks to the acquired skills and competences, the participants will be able to use in their pedagogical work new didactic methods, interesting teaching aids, and especially movement, which is a natural state for humans, and all sensory-motor perception favours the preservation of knowledge.
In addition, participants will get to know new interesting didactic proposals; they will gain skills in creating their own scenarios based on questions about the world that intrigue students; they will get to know the possibilities of real connection between theory and practice; they will deepen their knowledge on the role of interdisciplinarity in pedagogy.
The training will be attended by 38 participants. The training will be conducted by 2 trainers from Iceland, who will be assisted by 2 trainers from Poland. (Costs relating to trainers from Poland are not eligible). The trainers from Iceland are the authors of the PTLM teaching method and have many years of experience in teacher training. They are early childhood and physical education teachers. They trained approx. 5000 teachers and educators in the PTLM teaching method.
The PTLM teaching method combines several teaching areas that have a very significant impact on learning outcomes: movement and physical activity, atmosphere and well-being, ecology, language as a communication tool.
