Summary of project results
The main objective of the projects was the exchange (mobility) of students and staff between universities.
Through the implementation of the project, the university intended to intensify the internationalisation of the education process.
The main goals of the project included:
- enabling students to go to study at a partner university in Norway
- enabling employees to conduct classes for students of a partner university in Norway
- increasing the scope of cooperation and mobility with a partner academic center
- qualitative and quantitative improvement in multilateral institutional cooperation
- raising the level of higher education and vocational training
- supporting the participants in the effective use of human skills potential
- promoting the idea of lifelong learning
- linguistic support
- supporting participants in acquiring and using knowledge, skills and qualifications in the international environment for further personal development (including increasing the employability of graduates with foreign professional experience)
- enabling participants to get to know the international environment.
The project assumed the mobility of employees and students both to and from Norway. Unfortunately, the mobility to Poland could not be implemented (this problem was partly due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which covered most of the project period). The 3 mobilities of students and 2 employees from Poland to the Donor States planned in the Application have been implemented. Due to circumstances beyond the beneficiary''s control (the COVID-19 pandemic and the related restrictions, as well as the lack of interest in participating in the program among the academic community), mobility from the Donor States to Poland was not carried out.
The programme was attended by:
- students of Kazimierz Wielki University (mobility for study, one semester);
3 students of Kazimierz Wielki University; two of them were the students of the last year of 5-year master''s program and a second-year student
- academic staff of Kazimierz Wielki University (mobility for teaching; 2 academic teachers.
Participation in the Programme and the achievement of its results certainly contributed to strengthening the human potential and professional development of staff in the area of formal and non-formal education.
Summary of bilateral results
Cooperation with Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, initiated in 2014, has resulted in the implementation of a number of projects (mainly mobility projects) including the Education Programme. The cooperation was correct, and the involvement of the partner institution did not raise any major objections. From the stage of arrangements before application for the project, e-mail correspondence was exchanged and the number and direction of mobilities were negotiated. At that time, it was also optimistically assumed that the mobilities would successful. The information received shows that the person dealing with the administration of this type of projects with great commitment and after consultations with the academic community, presented the proposed number of mobilities of students and staff from the partner country to Poland. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on the implementation of the project (problems with recruitment and resignation of the candidates from Norway due to the travel bans introduced and the uncertain situation). However, further negotiations on reducing and changing the direction of mobilityies were undertaken, and an annex to the interinstitutional agreement was signed. Despite the commitment and joint development of measures to minimize the risk of failure, the project was fully successful.
