Project - goals/why the project was needed:
- To develop the internationalization of KU and partner institutions, internationalization being one of the components of KU''s strategy. Closer cooperation allowed both us and partner institutions to become better acquainted with the curricula of the universities and to consider to adopt the content and substance of the subjects and the classes and make more attractive and varied, so that they better complete the needs of students.
- To increase the competitiveness of students in the local and international and labor markets. To create opportunities for students to learn about the global labor market and to be open to other cultures, the international work environment and working in a foreign languages. Getting to know the ways of management in foreign companies results in easier adaptation to the rules prevailing in these companies, which facilitates work efficiency and increases employee (e.g. student) satisfaction.
- Financial support of scholarship recipients. E+ scholarships are not enough to cover most of the costs of staying in the Donor States. Financial issues are one of the most important arguments/concerns when recruiting students for internship and study trips.
- Enabling mobility participants to acquire substantive knowledge and deepen interpersonal skills. In addition, both students and employees gain communication skills, resulting in an improvement in their language skills and confidence when speaking. For many students, this was their first opportunity to travel independently, which certainly taught them self-reliance and how to deal with new situations and to manage the budget.

Short-term benefits include attracting new good partners for international exchange for practice (Novum company).

Summary of bilateral results
Partner international institutions are playing a key-role in the Programme, as they are the ones to bring this international flavor and impact, that''s much needed and desired by students and employees. Their participation let the expansion and tightening of relations between all institutions participating in the Programme really occur and make those relations even stronger and deeper. Thanks to our partners being involved in the Programme, KU academic staff had a chance to teach for the very first time at BI Norway Business School and University of Agder. Also our students for the first time in very long time were financially able to spend a mobility semester in Liechtenstein or Island. Additionally, due to the strengthening of relations with partners during the Programme, our joint work will be continued and developed with all partners in the field of research, student and staff exchange, publications and organization of educational programs/projects together. On top of that, thanks to cooperation with international partners, each of us got a chance to get to know each other''s curricula and to think about how we can create the content of our classes more attractive so that it better meets the needs of students at all universities. Also the possibility of participating in the mobility at a foreign university/in a foreign company meant that students and employees participating in these mobilities gained new competences, such as interculturality, good management skills, or cooperation and communication in a foreign industry language, which positively affect their professional and academic position.
