Description

Intensive training is addressed to English language teachers, management staff and selected students from the institutions run by the Plonsk county. Training will be conducted by five experts from a partner school in Reykjavik, who during the entire working week will visit 5 schools subject to the applicant and will conduct training in the form of lectures, workshops and presentations for teachers, management staff and students in the field of teaching English - methods of teaching vocabulary, grammar, speaking and reading comprehension. Training participants also want to learn how English is taught in Iceland and compare the effects of the methods used. A total number of 31 people will participate in the trainings, including 5 managers. The planned date of training is 21-25 September 2020. The trainings will be conducted using modern multimedia techniques. The project will be implemented in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

Summary of project results

The project "How to teach to succeed- good English teaching methods- intensive training" was aimed at increasing the qualifications and professional competences of teachers, increasing their motivation and encouraging wider cooperation. The goals were achieved through a series of 40 hours of intensive training conducted by a team of 5 Trainers from the Partner School in Reykjavik, Iceland. Activities - trainings were held in all five secondary schools located in the Płońsk Poviat. 31 participants took part, including 5 members of the management team. The project was implemented in accordance with the schedule specified in the grant application. The adopted form of classes are lectures, workshops with the participation of test groups, reverse lessons and presentations. The trainers prepared training materials. Before and after the training commencement, evaluation activities were carried out and the activities disseminated from the Donor States to the project implementation. The project was implemented in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, and the principle of equality between women and men.
