The study visit serves to expand the existing cooperation between universities. 3 days of numerous meetings and exchanges of experience and knowledge with Norwegian scientists, administrative staff, including the NTNU education office and the person responsible for working with students with disabilities and dysfunctions are planned. Visiting laboratories, participation in workshops and academic classes are planned. The benefit of the visit will be strengthening the competences of the participants, and thus their unit in the field of inclusive education, good governance and quality culture in the education sector. The participants of the visit will be five academic employees of the UWM Institute of Building Engineering. A measurable effect of the visit will be the improvement of the quality of didactics and research at UWM, joint publications with NTNU, joint organization of conferences and symposia. The visit will also result in submitting joint applications for scientific grants.

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to improve the skills and increase the competence of the staff of the Institute of Construction of the Faculty of Geodesy, Spatial Engineering and Construction of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in the field of inclusive education, good management and quality culture in the education sector.  The participants of the Study Visit were five research and teaching staff. In addition, the Visit itself was aimed at expanding the existing cooperation between the universities: University of Warmia and Mazury and Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet. There were 3 days of numerous meetings, exchange of experience and knowledge with Norwegian scientists, administrative staff, including the NTNU education office and those responsible for working with students with disabilities and dysfunctions. The meetings were implemented with the participation of Prof. Mohamed Hamda and Prof. Bjorn Petter Jelle. They visited research laboratories and took part in workshops and teaching activities where the goal was to strengthen the competencies of the participants. The project was implemented according to schedule. The project promoter indicated that the main objectives of the study visit were achieved in 95%. Fruitful discussions were held on the current development opportunities of the participants of the visit, inclusive education, problems of people with disabilities and dysfunctions. The basics of good management and quality culture in the education sector were learned. The meeting held enabled the participants to learn about the Norwegian policy of internationalization of universities

Summary of bilateral results

Cooperation with the Host Institution was evaluated as high as possible. The participants received proposals for new international cooperation, which will result in joint scientific publications.
