The participants also took part in lesson hospitalizations, exchanging experiences from Poland and Norway. They also conducted diagnosis of SEN students for: ADHD, emotional disorders, behavioral disorders and developmental dyslexia, as well as their family situation and experienced violence, using a standardized questionnaire with high psychometric properties. 100% of the participants improved their competencies and showed an increase in knowledge. Thanks to the exchange of experience between specialists from Poland and Norway, there was an increase in the competence of teaching staff training future teachers in the field of inclusive education. There was also development of professional competencies necessary to work with students with special educational needs, especially those related to working with families, children with ADHD, emotional disorders. Surveys have been conducted among students with SEN in Poland and Norway and compared with those carried out in Iceland regarding their psychosocial and social functioning in inclusive education. Awareness was raised not only among Poles and Norwegians, but also among Icelanders about the need to promote the idea of inclusive education through the dissemination of materials prepared from the research. The host institution provided all the necessary information, fostered the organization of activities. The results of the research will be used to introduce changes in teacher training and implement new solutions in the area of support for students with special educational needs. A research report has been developed and made available on the website of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, which is the basis for the development of a scientific article that will include comparative results obtained from subjects from Poland, Iceland and Norway.
